I love shopping (Och Sport in Zurich)

For every runner to go shopping in a Sport shop is one of his or her favorite pastimes

In the midst of Zurich's world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, at the tramway stop “Rennweg”, is Och Sport– I went in looking for their fall and winter collection of running shoes.

At the entrance I was greeted by an ON runner (see picture).

Och Sports, founded in 1837, I know as a good sport shop with a nice collection of running shoes: Ascis, adidas and Nike and many more. I have bought there in 1988 my first torsion shoes - adidas ZX8000.

 
Now over 20 years later, adidas still has its torsion system! But the young Swiss Running shoe company "ON RUNNING" has something new: the wave step technology called “Cloudtec”. In my over 30 years I have bought a nice collection of running shoes (over 200 pairs): ON definitely belongs to my top 10 shoes. Having now a cartilage damage, they are the only shoes, I can wear running more than 10 miles (16km). This Sunday I ran around Zurich airport, which is 20 km and I just felt great all the way with my ON 2010/2011.
